COMEDY THRU THE DECADES AND HONESTY

1980's comedy: Did you ever notice?

1990's comedy: Did you ever notice after getting high?

2000's comedy: Did you ever notice what pisses you off and makes life suck? And doesn't aging blow?

2010's comedy: Did you ever notice after getting high what pisses you off and makes life suck and doesn't aging blow?!... (some of that done with a I don't have any of this memorized or completely finished so let me refer to my notebook attitude).

Am I against any of it? As a an involved comic of all the decades,
you may notice I am not!

Keep at it, write and perform as if you are the one that makes the rules and it all works out.

If they're laughing you're on to something, it may not be perfect or completely honed even, but if you're being honest and they're laughing, man oh man you got something.

Some of the best laughs are when you're being perfectly honest. You can honestly feel the difference in the audience. See what I did there?
