YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS TO PERFORM WELL

You don't need an audience to complete you.
You need an audience to accept you completely.
~
When you're on stage you mean the world to your audience, reciprocate the feeling.
~
Over thinking is fear based. Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start thinking about what could and most likely IS going to go right. Would it kill you to have a little faith? ;)
~
Identity is very important for comedy.
YOUR voice. YOUR take. YOUR special feel.
What is it that YOU find funny and from what direction do YOU feel it should go.
Do what YOU think is hilarious.
~
Never forget to bring more than just your material to the stage. Sometimes when we've done stand up for awhile we forget that WE are more than just our words and jokes. WE are funny people that have to LIVE our jokes and words on stage or they lose their passion. WE are funny people, WE were funny before we had those chosen words.
~
You owe it to your audience to be alive and in the moment every second you're on stage, take a moment off and you could lose them. Don't. They're too precious to risk that.
