Get
to the point. Make that point funny. Repeat. Or Sound
as if you're making a common point. Then twist that point to go where
the audience would never expect. ~ Create
your jokes rather than write them. ~ Never
underestimate simplicity. It's the quickest way to understanding. ~ If
you need for the audience to know something, tell them. ~ A
good joke's setup should include tension. The release of the tension
is in the form of your punch lines... that sometimes reveal a whole
other story. ~ Standup
comedy is related to gossiping. ~ Comics
are 15 and 30 sec ad writers and the joke's punch line is the product
they're selling. ~ Think
visually. In pictures rather than words. Visual thinking is
emotional. Comedy is emotional. Get it? ~ “The
best ideas come as jokes. Make your thinking as funny as possible”. -David
